Sonic Boom Wellness Privacy Policy

Sonic Boom Wellness, LLC (“Sonic Boom”) contracts with your employer or employer-sponsored group health plan (“Employer/Plan”) to make its wellness program (“Program”) available to all eligible employees or health plan members.

The Program is strictly voluntary. If you choose to participate, you understand and agree that the Employer/Plan controls the collection, use, processing and disclosure of personal information necessary to administer the Program (including personal information in the Sonic Boom portal), and Sonic Boom processes such data on behalf of the Employer/Plan.

You may choose to connect your personal mobile device and/or other tracking device to SonicBoom by adjusting your privacy settings. This enables the collection of physical activity data such as steps taken, distance traveled, active calories burned, and activity minutes; although available metrics may vary based on your device or platform. This information is utilized solely for administering the Program. By participating in the Program, you understand and agree that Sonic Boom may process your personal information to develop, administer and improve of the Program, and Sonic Boom may disclose your personal information (including your participation in the Program and personal information in the Sonic Boom portal) to the Employer/Plan and other administrators of the Program in accordance with applicable law.

Sonic Boom may also share personal information with its subprocessors, subcontractors or other third-parties who assist in administering the Program, as permitted by the Employer/Plan and/or applicable law.

The Employer/Plan is responsible for any applicable consumer rights, such as correcting, deleting or updating personal information and for complying with any regulations or laws that require providing notice, disclosure, and/or obtaining consent prior to transferring personal information for processing purposes. Any consumer privacy requests should be directed to the Employer/Plan who has control over the personal information.

Sonic Boom may update this Member Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its data processing practices or legal requirements. The most current version of the Member Privacy Policy will be posted on Sonic Boom’s website or provided to you. It is your responsibility to review this Member Privacy Policy periodically.
